ABOUT US

Bricks Neapolitan Pizza is a locally owned restaurant situated on the St. Croix Riverway’s eastern shore.  Inspired by the tradition and cuisine of Naples, Italy, we opened our doors in 2005 and have been serving the St. Croix Valley community ever since.

Our kitchen’s centerpiece is the namesake brick oven, constructed with volcanic rock from Mt. Vesuvius.  Fueled entirely by oak firewood, the oven can reach over 900ºF on a busy night and never truly burns out.  In a sense, our oven has been burning for seventeen years!

We believe one of the most important tenets of Neapolitan cuisine is the use of local, in-season ingredients.  We prep our food in small batches to ensure freshness and source as many of our ingredients — from honey to morel mushrooms — as possible through local farmers and foragers in Hudson and the surrounding area.

DOWNTOWN HUDSON

Downtown Hudson hosts a great community of small businesses.  You might come for the pizza, but we hope you’ll stay and check out some of our favorite local spots:

If you’re in search of a local taproom with passionate brewers, Hop + Barrel sits just across the street from Bricks.  If you’re someone with a sweet tooth, Knoke’s Chocolates is only a short walk away.

Our friends at The Purple Tree offer all sorts of ethically sourced gifts that are good for you, the planet, and the community.  Or, check out the work of local artists at the Season’s On St. Croix art gallery — only two doors down from our dining room.

Downtown Hudson is a hub of local events and activities, especially during the summer!  You can find a current list of upcoming events at the Chamber of Commerce, as well as more information on downtown Hudson and its locally owned businesses.
